Now, the character description says that it can be, and often is, a double gender role. But my question is, when i sing the high notes, should i belt them or use my head voice? Because if i use my head voice, its more accurate, but im scared i sound to... girly, even though its double gender, the character is adressed as 'Mr. Wonka'. If i belt it it may be off but sound lower. Any advice?
A million hearts beat quicker there, a million lights they flicker there. No clouds of grey on that great white way, thats the Broadway Melody!
