workshop of the Grinch musical

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the upcoming workshop of The Grinch musical. I have a friend who is involved and was looking for more information about it. Did anyone here audition for it or does anyone have any more info about it? Thanks.

I didn't realize there was a Grinch musical, either. But I'm sure my little sister would love it.

My friend just turned 16. He isn't a trained dancer, but he always does pretty well at dance auditions. He has been going through a dry spell at auditions lately (after being in shows both on and off broadway a few years ago), so I am so happy ofr him to have a job. Hopefully I will get to see the workshop in some form. I think rehearsals start on March 14th....

Just an update. I guess they had to make the cast smaller for the workshop, so my friend was called and told that they didn't need him for the workshop. they said they really liked him and are still going to pay him for part of it, but he's out of the workshop. Oh well..... It seems so hard for kids when they hit that age, like 14-17, because they can get people who are 21 or older (who don't need a wrangler, tutor, etc.) to play their age parts.... I guess you just have to wait it out till your old enough....
