Sorry. Don't know anybody there around that time. From what I hear, the school has changed a lot and doesn't have nearly as much to offer. I know when I was in high school in the suburbs, members of our music department would beat them in competitions. Perhaps their theatre department was better, but the music department started going downhill in the 80s.

I am not SHORT.. I am slightly below average height.. average is 5'9".. I am 5'7", though I have a pair of sneakers that have concealed 2.5" lifs in them......

The GREAT thing about me is that I'm tall and I see right over short people. So I didn't notice you had said anything. What was that again?

The national Tour of HAIRSPRAY

1. The ever popular conductor of the show -- Jim Vukovich.
2. The little spitfire herself -- Carly Jibson (WHY is she not on Broadway?? Please.. an answer anyone??)
3. The asolutely, positively, permanently punished Sandra De Nise. Gorgeous as she can be with a powerhouse voice wowing them all as Penny Pingleton.
4. Big Momma Brucey -- for having the balls.. er, breats. to step into Harvey's shoes.. a daunting task to be sure...
4. Bryan West -- true, he is no Adam Fleming, but one can not expect him to be. Apples and Oranges... He is faboo himself
5.Kiana Underwood as Lil Inez -- ya just wann pick her up and put her in your pocket she is so adorable.
6. Austin Miller -- an utterly hilarious Link larkin
7. Michael Cunio -- have you seen "The Fluffer"??
8. The touring set -- I am a nerd and love to spot the differences.. Trcay's jail cell is square, the can is smaller and opens out to the sides, no passarelle around the pit...
9. Touring salary and travel -- production contract. per diem. see the land (on the RARE occasion of free time).
10.The chance for people across the catch the wonderful experience that is Hairspray

Phantom, here is a list idea. Make a list of 10 Broadway theatres and their telephone numbers. That would be useful for everyone.
