Posted: 5/12/07 at 2:55amBump...I'm gonna try to see this show tomorrow but I won't get into the city until about 4:00. What are my chances of getting a ticket? I am a student so I could do student rush an hour before, if necessary.

"I saw on talkin' broadway, they have both general rush and student rush..."
What's the difference between the student rush and general rush besides only students are eligible for student rush?

General rush is a limited number at $25 in the rear mezz when the box office opens.
Student rush is half an hour before the show, any left over tickets for half price.

Sometimes they let you buy with the student rush price when the box office opens.
Last Saturday I bought a student ticket (Orch. Row N) at half price when the box office opened. When I went Sunday morning the guy at the box office said it was a very full house, and he could only sell me a $25 seat in the mezz. But if I wanted to come back a half hour before he might have an orch seat he could sell me at half price. Since I saw the show the night before I took it as a sign and headed over to LoveMusik and bought a student ticket.
On Saturday their were 3 other people in line with me. On Sunday I was the only person there when the box office opened.

Posted: 5/12/07 at 9:14amI did it yesterday. I got there like a little before 10 and the box office people were running a little late due to the trains being messed up or something. I was the 6th person there. I sat in the rear mezz and I thought it was fine seats.

Posted: 5/12/07 at 11:13amThey didn't even ask me for my ID and sold me front row of the mezz...dead center for $56 on a Saturday night.
