I bought the Original Cast Recording for 13 when it was first released, and stuck it on the shelf (there were other things I wanted to listen to). I just pulled it down today because my new year resolution is to make sure I listen to EVERYTHING in my CD collection.
So, when I stuck 13 in the CD player in my car, to my surprise it was a whole CD of Asian style music. At first I thought "well, this overture is weird" but EVERY track is the stuff! What the french, toast!?!?
Did anyone else have this problem? I am certain I ordered it from amazon.com

Be thankful... I am sure your "Asian style music" is a vast improvement over 13's score.
That is the recording. It was outsourced to China to cut down on costs.
Hey LuPonatic: There was a mixup at the factory that affected a couple hundred CDs – Sh-K-Boom recalled most of them, but apparently you got yours before the recall! If you write to Noah Cornman at Sh-K-Boom, he'll make sure a replacement is sent out to you immediately. You'll find the email addresses at the link below:

Thanks for the info! I just sent him an email.
@ LuPonatic- that was one of my resolutions too. I often pick up cast recordings at used cd stores or thrift stores, and then forget about them. I have even bought the same show twice!
So before I can buy new shows, I'm listening to all the ones in my collection.
I've gotten into collecting, so I frequently purchase numerous recordings at once as well. I JUST listened to They're Playing Our Song for the first time, although I've had the CD for a while. Very enjoyable! I also have the studio recording of Breakfast at Tiffany's that has been my "getting ready in the morning" music. I'm almost through the first disc. NOT very enjoyable (although I adore Faith Prince, and I DO like the song "Holly Golightly"
