Posted: 11/23/08 at 7:09pmI went a few weeks ago on a Sunday when the box office opened at noon. I got there about 11, and there were maybe 15 people in front of me. They were all doing the matinee, though, so I was the first person online who wanted tickets for the evening show. I ended up front row center. I don't understand their one ticket per ID policy, though. Do any other shows do that? I don't understand why they would, especially when they're clearly not selling out to even close to full capacity.

Posted: 11/23/08 at 8:25pmI did it on a Sunday and got there about 11:30 and there were about 25 people in front of me (a big group of kids were there) and there were quite a few people behind by the time the box office opened. Most of them were going to the matinee. But a few people, including my self were going to the night show.

Posted: 11/24/08 at 12:21amRow C, all the way at the end of right orchestra (which were awful seats), but luckily we were able to move center orchestra on the aisle at intermission.

Why would you do this when you can get rush seats for $25 versus paying regular price? Even with a discount...

im going to NY around new years (maybe a few days before, or the 3rd or something)
And was wondering. We are going to see Hairspray and I want to rush 13. should I go to the matinee of 13 or of hairspray?
Which show (matinee or evening) Has the most rush seats? and since it is closing soon there after, will it be harder to rush?

Posted: 11/24/08 at 8:44amFrom reading these previous posts, I would rush Hairspray for the matinee, since a lot of people seem to rush the 13 matinee and not so much the evening. Although I think Hairspray makes a much more fun evening show.
