I saw Wicked for the first time the other day. It was really good. I thought I was going to not like it because I was totally over the soundtrack from it being played to often. But it was so cool. I like how Glinda with a silent "Gah" was like reese witherspoon in legally blonde. haha It really made me laugh.

Now how did Idina break herself at the end in her last performance? I thought the melting scene was an "animation" or prop silhouettes, not the actual actors. Very awesome overall.

well.. i have seen real theater. I mean one of my favorite operas is La Boheme. Wicked was very fun though.

Congrats! You have now lost your WIcked virginity! I agree, Wicked is really good. Glad you liked it. Stephanie J Block and Annaleigh are excellent together. Anyways, Idina broke her rib because there used to be a platform where she would melt into. Its very dark and you can't see anything, so Idina would say in her head "left, right, left" ads she walked and then she would be on the sinking platform. However, the person assisting her was a subsitute, and the moving platform crushed one of her ribs. You can hear her tell the story here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACfEAEbnB6U

Now, the actress who plays Elphaba crouches down and moves backwards while the lights are actually making Dorothy look bigger.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I didn't see it for the first time until last Dec. and thought it was great. I've been back once since then because I love Stephanie and Annaleigh together.
