I am searching for 15-20 minute plays with a small cast and contemporary.

ANY help is muchly appreciated.

Thanks!!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

you may want to look in one-act books.

15 minute hamlet is hilarious, but not contemporary.
and medea by durrang and wasserstein is as well, but again not contemporary.

hear my song; it was made for the time when you don't know where to go, listen to the song that i sing, you'll be fine..

My school won the New England Theatre Drama Awards with the play "The Second Best Bed".

The play itself is okay, but with good actors, well its mostly female, actresses, make it great.

It's written by Tim Kelly, if that'll help you track it down.

Have you checked your library?

Thanks!

My local theatre library has full-length one-acts and also 10 minute plays but finding 15-20 is difficult.

I'll look up those suggested plays.

Can I suggest a Broadway favorite, “The 24 Hour Plays”?

Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

"Have they come yet?"
