The year had hits, major misses, star turns and star tantrums, lackluster revivals(you which ones I mean) and daring new works and most of all true spirit, I had such fun reading and getting to know you all this past year. My wish for 2004 is that all of you working hard get your big break, that Broadway keeps us on our toes, cause we'll be returning the favor and that good health and laughter find it's way to all of you, and that Rob let's me post a few more shirtless numbers in the New Year! Good Night Al Dente! where ever you are.......Oh, and would Nathan Lane please PM me, I gotta X-mas gift for you!
You've got to spread joy up to the maximum Bring gloom down to the minimum Have faith or pandemonium's Liable to walk upon the scene

A few of my favorite memories from this past year....

- The 'Ruben on Broadway' thread
- The rumor that Barbara Cook was replacing Jane Krakowski in 'Nine'
- The strange dissaperances of Teacher of Theater and Luluhed.

But my favorite moment was brought to us by LouW95:

"I am new to online sites like this and that is why I am what you call a "sudden poster". Sorry if I invaded your little world of like minded ethnocentrics. Your accusations and insults are way out of line. Keep on with this tone and this board will peter out ..Some advice: Be more tolerant and welcoming instead of placing labels on people who simply have a different opinion. So long. I hope every show receives great notices and promotes Bway."

Tops on my list:

The grammar and spelling, or lack thereof, by Amneris and BroadwayGuy2. Always challenging to decipher and to read.

Miss Sueleen's icon. Bar none, the best on the board.

Voicenth's Christina/Brittney/Mariah, et al rants.

All things Horsey/Namo/Al Dente and Mr. Roxy.

Dining across America with Julianna.

I wish for you all, peace, joy, success and best wishes in the new year.

Love ya! Mean it!

MMS

If by favorite you mean the equivalent to reading it was like driving by a roadside accident and HAVING to stop to and look at the carngage.... I agree....

I assume that you are trying to be funny. Ha ha.

Corine2's former columns were insightful, humourous and thought provoking. I, for one, miss reading them.

re: : re: re: re: Gracias

Funny perhaps..

If by insightful you mean that I was able to delve into the mind of Corine. Then yes.

If by humourous you mean that I was able to delve into the mind of Corine. Then yes.

If by thought provoking you mean I was able to delve into the mind of Corine. Then no. I can't say her columns made me think once, let alone twice. They weren't that well written and I felt she had opportunity to really pull off a great interview if she actually ASKED thought provoking questions. I wish her the best of luck wherever she landed.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Believe me, there are others, many others, who feel quite the opposite.

I can't wait to see what Corine2's next career move will be. I know she has lots of 'irons in the fire' and only time will tell which path she will take.

How can anyone in their right mind feel that I have any romantic inclinations for that ignominious lout named Albin! Have you seen his photo in the fan section? The man has "loser" stamped all over him! Have you read his postings? They all indicate that if he scored six points more on his IQ test he'd be a roll of dental floss (and dental floss is far more useful than he is!!!!)

Now, let's get to his taste in clothing....well, even the Fab Five from QUEER EYE feel that he's a hopeless case. Carson Kresley has suggested that Albin turn in his gay membership card.

No, my friends, my taste in men run to those who are suave and handsome and urbane. Give me TSMrW or TSMrMcC any day. Albin??? NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dolly, be careful, "The Lady doth protest too much, me thinks" or as Laurie put it so well..."PEOPLE WILL SAY WE'RE IN LOVE!"

Sueleen...I just now read this thread. I never thought I would be the first to be mentioned in it. Thank you, thank you ever so much. I promise, next time I'm on the verge of purchasing tickets, I won't share the experience w/ the board. I admit, I got out of hand. But DAMN YOU TELECHARGE FOR BEING DIFFICULT!
