While I admit to being a skeptic of her abilities, there is always the chance that her take on the role of Celie will leave us speechless. Her rendition of I'm Here is, to me at least, alittle too jazzed up to think it came from Celie, but it is nevertheless heartfelt.

Heather Laws is just not that good in my opinion and most voters would have seen much better actresses play that part.
Margo, is Reba the only replacement to win?
Too bad Arden was so good in BIG RIVER he certainly broke thru in THE TIMES....

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
