I'm bumping this thread because I don't think we should definetely say that Benanti is guareenteed her second Tony. In 2009, Haydn Gwynne won the Outer Critics Circle Award and Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical, but Karen Olivo beat her for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical.

I saw WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN and thought it was brilliant. It did not deserve the bitchfest it received.
