Does anyone know when the date will be announced for the Tony awards? I understand it's either the first or second Sunday in June. It looks like last year the date was announced on September 8 so I'd imagine it should be soon. I wasn't sure if this was keyed off of some committee meeting or something and (some of) you people always seem to be in the know.
I've never been to NY on Tony Tuesday and would like to plan a trip this year to experience the atmosphere. (I may even try to get tickets to the awards although I understand they sell out very quickly. It would just be a fun experience and I'd like to go some year.). Now if only there were a show that was virtually guaranteed to win some awards....
