newphilosophygirl,
awesome! how was it 2nd time around? (not bad huh?) How was the view from the front row mezz?
Well I was a little skeptical about how it would be from up there (with the lighting and all), but i found it almost as good up there as down close. With a show like this though, there is just something MORE about sitting down close to the stage, but with that said, I would highly recommend the mezz to anyone trying to get tickets.
The second time around was just as powerful as the first. I picked up on more "plot" this time around, and really connected with the characters. Stark Sands was on the top of his game last night, I hope there were some voters in the audience because he was amazing, as was the rest of the cast.
I am with you Foster. The show has made it this far, to close on Tony night when they are almost guaranteed a victory is heartbreaking, I really wish they could have at least one performance after.

I wonder whether the decision to close on Tony night was a deliberate rebuke to the undiscerning public who have largely ignored this wonderful play. A sort of "tough (or ruder equivalent), you should have come when we needed you" message.
wow, im seriously considering doing this
i cant get LOVEMUSIK tickets for next Friday night, so ill see if my parents would be interested in seeing this...
The play is well worth seeing. Count me as a fan of the touching and funny story, the extraordinary actors all, and even the tragedy of WWI warfare.
