I know these threads are annoying, but I really need your alls help I am heading to NYC for a week in July, I am gonna catch 4 shows, which ones would you suggest? I am going to try and stay on a budget too, so if there are good shows with discounts that is even better! Which shows do you guys suggest I see?
Catch the Normal Heart. It's an absolutely phenomenal show and I have no doubt it will pick up a few tony's. Ellen Barkin's monologue is worth the price of admission alone.
Plays? Musicals? You'll have to be a bit more specific - when did you last come to Broadway, what have you seen/what have you missed? But... a few to get you started 1.) War Horse 2.) Book of Mormon 3.) The Normal Heart
Scratch and claw for every day you're worth!
Make them drag you screaming from life, keep dreaming
You'll live forever here on earth.
I'd also recommend The Book of Mormon but I tried getting tickets to the show and they said that it is sold out until September. And since you are going in July my guess is that the only room they have for performances is standing room...
