I know that there is buzz re: Carpenter being connected to a "42nd Street" rival. Besides tap, the audition notice also indicates: "fluency in swing sensibility and style from the 1930s" which doesn't seem to mesh with "42nd Street".
Is there a possibility that this notice might be for a revival of "Crazy For You", or possibly a new musical that might fit the description of "a developmental work session"? -Just curious.
