Posted: 3/12/06 at 12:48amWell, sorry to be the debbie downer of the group, but I hated the tour. I went in with high expectations, but it just let me down. I thought the production qualities weren't great. Its just a bunch of drops and not much set. Some of the acting was horrible - the older male lead, the director, can't remember his name. And I thought the overall story was just dumb. And I'm not much of a dancer, so the dancing didn't do much for me at all. But who knows, go see it, its always great to see as much theater as you can. I'm glad I went. It made me a appreciate contemporary theater a lot more. Let me know what ya think!

Posted: 3/12/06 at 10:53am42nd Street isn't about the story AT ALL. It's about the dancing, and the showiness. Don't go expecting an intellectually stimulating night at the theater - go expecting a showy spectacle with toe-tapping numbers and eye-popping dance numbers - you'll enjoy yourself.

Posted: 3/12/06 at 3:23pmI guess that was my problem. I expected it to be an overall great show. I didnt even think the dancing was all that special.
