42nd Street help!!!!

Hey~

Going to see 42nd Street sometime this month =-D I have a couple questions: what time does the box office open? They only do student rush or is there another thing where its first come first serve tickets?? How many do you get? I'm reading on the site you only get 1!? I need 4 tickets. What time should I get there before the box office opens to get tickets?

I'm sorry I don't have an answer to those question but I thought I'd ask another one. Does anyone know if the closing date they made for January is still in effect or if it is back to an indefinite run?

It's still closing in January.

I think you can only get one ticket per ID for Student Rush. The box office opens at 10 every day except Sunday I believe, when it opens at 12---you should double check, though. I suggest getting there at 8:30-8:45 every day, except Sunday, when you should get there maybe 10/10:30? That's my estimate.

I need a government ID? I can't just use a school id? I don't drive nor do I have a passport =-(

Yes, 42nd Street requires two IDs for their student rush. You should probably see if it's on the TKTS board instead of rushing.

Student rush isn't a requirement for every theatre, so I wouldn't get too upset lol. I mean, at least it HAS a rush policy, unlike some shows (ie-Phantom).

=-( I know, the thing is I made plans to see the show with some family members and I was going to do student rush but I don't have a gov't ID

Do the family members already have tickets? Because if none of you have tickets, maybe you should try rushing a different show.

no none of us have tickets =-( I thought for student rush they gave out 2 tickets each so it was going to be me and someone else doing the student rush.. so thats off. but now I here I need 2 ID's so I can't even get at least 1 ticket! =*-(

Maybe you should try rushing another show that gives out 2 tickets per ID (Little Shop, Aida, Bombay Dreams, Fiddler, Wonderful Town, etc) or just check the TKTS board for half-price tickets.
