I saw 42nd Street a couple years ago, in 7th grade, and yesterday I was in the city on a theatre class field trip. We walked by the theare and everything was being boxed up, taken apart, put into trucks and all that. It was pretty depressing. They had the doors open so you could see in onto the stage, which was so big, dark, and empty. Farewell 42nd Street.

Yay! What's going in that theatre next???

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

lol...But it got bad reviews in London, and the song chity Chitty gets more annoying the more they sing chitty chitty...No prejudging, but I don't think it's gonna last (Just like All Shook Up)

This is actually very sad. I loved this show and am sad to see it go. I saw Seussical load in when I was in NYC and have always thought these types of things are really fun to see.

I am excited about Chitty...we'll see if it's any good. :)
