Saw Legally Bolnde today. I was sitting in the balcony and let me tell you do not underestimate the amaizing view from those seats cause they were awesome. The only thing is, is that when someone in front leans foward so do you.
Anyway on to the show:
I thought it was fantastic. Laura Bell Bundy was great definatley Tony worthey! She sings so nicley with a great low register and a nice belt.
Orfeh was sooooo good as Paulette. The woman is a great actress, but also has a huge set of strong pipes. Ireland was hilarious as was bend and snap.
Richard Blake and Kate Shindle were good in there supporting roles. BLake has a great pop voice, and Shindle has a great range and control over her voice. She pulled off Vivienne very well as did Blake with Warner.
Michael Rupert was fantastic as Callahan, his song Blood in water was good. He was so convincing as this big jack a**.
Christian Borle was ok. He had sort of a camio part. I love his voice and the scenes he did have he did very well.
Nikki Snelson was so great as Brooke. She gets such a power workout at every performance. Just a side note, you have to be in top physical shape to do this show eight times a week.
The Greek Chorus was great so funny. Annaleigh Ashford was so funny as Margot. I still have Omigod in my head. Also the song Is he gay or european had me in stitches.
So overall the show was fantastic. The sets amaizing and the choreography was unbeleivable. I was so thrilled.
