I'm not sure if it's all due to Jen Tepper but I've been impressed with 54 Below's commitment lately to unearthing underappreciated musicals. Onward Victoria, Nick & Nora, Rachael Lily Rosenbloom, etc. Anyway, just curious if anyone is planning to see The Goodbye Girl or Doonesbury or could throw in some background to sell either show (beyond what was covered in their respective "If It Only Even Runs A Minute" segments).

Hi there! Nick and Nora, Onward Victoria, Mademoisele Colombe, Henry Sweet Henry, Eating Raoul and Charlie and Algernon were all part of the Second Act Series, which I produce with James Horan who is the arranger and pianist for all of the concerts. I abridge and direct the scripts we use for each one. Our upcoming shows are Shelter starring Jon Cryer on June 27, The Fix starring Sally Ann Triplett on August 9, The Screams of Kitty Genovese on October 11, Bring Back Birdie on November 9 and in January, the first musical Charles Strouse and Lee Adams ever wrote together - Pound in Your Pocket. Glad you're enjoying, and thanks for attending!

OMG, I can't believe you posted this! We're actually in NYC for the July 4th long weekend and I was at Opening Night of Doonesbury (pre-Broadway, in Boston). I think I even have the press kit somewhere and I have the album, but it's framed, with Trudeau's signature on it. Might have to take it down and take it with us to this show on the 2nd!
It was a good show about the perils of growing up (getting out of college) and of Reaganomics
Moving plans around now to do this!
