I had no idea that I would be allowed to take photos during the rehearsal and was surprised when everyone in the audience starting doing it and there was no announcement. I had my Nikon D80 with me and took these shots from the mezzanine. Thanks HughE2030! Those are great pictures!
Thanks. Its interesting to see that the opening was different than the rehearsal. It seems like they must have filmed the cast shots tonight after they had walked the Red Carpet. They did do the head shot thing.

did you have to by tickets for the rehearsal or be invited?
great pictures though thanks!
Thanks for the compliments. Ticket: I heard from many friends that you have to be invited or know someone to get the Ticket, and I was satisfied to just watch the talent enter. After most of the people went in, I just asked a women who has a clip board and some tickets. Just as the doors were closing, she gave me a ticket. I told some friends later, and he said that never happens. The close friends and family sit in the Orchestra area, the Mezzanine level is GA for friends, and friends of friends. It was about 3/4 full. Later today I will be doing a summary of the night, the After Party and the best place to stand to see the stars.
