8/7 matinee - Martin Short FAME BECOMES ME

Was there for yesterday's matinee. Laughed my patootie off.

Spoilers, the show was like "Martin Short's SNL" meets Ed Sullivan.

My 2 fav nos. out of a show of fav nos. was & Capathia Jenkins singing "Stop the Show" & Martin's last song "Glass Half Full". I must, must, must get the music to this beautiful song! I'll never forget the ugly (& I do mean ugly) costume Jenkins wore in "The Look of Love". My heart went out to her in that show.

Now, 1,000's will be able to say they saw Marc Shaiman's patootie.

Short & the entire cast are terrific! I'm goin' for seconds.

I really liked the show. It was nice to see Marc Shamin in the flesh. He is not a bad actor. I like that the show is comedy based.
