Several articles I've read about Deven May and pictures I've seen of the show have shown Edgar with a shaved head (not very attractive, but I guess it works and makes sense for the character).
Well, since bway.com has started putting up old videos, I found, to my delight, this one: http://www.broadway.com/gen/Buzz_Video.aspx?ci=505818 entitled 'Bat Boy flies Off-Broadway'. It shows an Edgar with a full head of hair, spiffy dress shirt instead of a wifebeater, etc. I *like* classy, full-haired Edgar.
I was just wondering: did hottie-well-dressed-Edgar or shaved-head-Edgar show up on the stage during the show? Personally, I think the really neat clothes and the hair make him look classier and also make me fall in love with him even more.
Thanks...

To avoid making a new thread I'll just ask here.
In the video and recording the reverand is obviously male. But in the toronto cast it is a female. Is there a reason?

BAT BOY! With the role of Shelley originated off-Broadway by the one-and-only Kerry Butler!
I apologize. I saw the words "BAT BOY" and immediately thought "Kerry Butler" and I had to give her the props she deserves.
*PROPS*
Okay, I'm done.
