I went back to see it again last night and could not believe how much more fun I had the second time. And the crowd was insane. After Christine Pedi's 12 Divas of Christmas the audience applauded so long and loud that she had to come back to the stage, do a little wave, and then they finally calmed down and let her leave. Then poor Marla Schaffel had to follow her, and she did a lovely job. She's really grown into the show. Vocally she was in top form last night. And the audience was on their feet screaming and cheering before the end of the finale. It was like when I saw Hairspray right when it openend and the audiences energy was overwhelming...well, it was like that lsat night.
If you haven't seen the show yet, or saw it in early previews like me go again. Its sooooooooo much fun :)

I just saw the show this afternoon, and I totally loved it too! I didn't know what to expect, and I was bowled over by the talent. Maya Days was perfection, especially in "O Holy Night." Marla Schaffel's songs were both hysterical and touching. Kathy Brier has more vocal talent than I EVER imagined--she must come back to Broadway! Christine Pedi's "12 Days of Christmas" was the most amazingly wonderful thing I've seen in ages. I couldn't stop laughing. I would go back just to see it again. And, of course, seeing Ellen Greene in person was an absolute treat!
No joke--I love love LOVED the show!!!
Thank Tom D and go and see the show so he can buy somewhere that's pink.
I was there opening night and they were all faboo.
My favorite parts: PEDI. Every number Pedi did.
I also loved Ellen Green's Santa Baby AND EVERYTHING Kate sang.
I fell in love with Maya's child!
It is a blast.

Kate Pazakis is one of the "Jingle Babes" and is super fierce. My friend involved with the show says that the big note she belts at the end of Please Come Home is a G that she slides up to a B flat...her voice is great and that range is ENDLESS. I didn't get to see her go on, but last week she went on for Christine Pedi and was supposed to be fabulous. She's a star waiting to be born!
And I'll follow up all these good reviews by saying the show is awesome. Really a fun show that made me laugh one minute (lonely jew) and then really emotional the next (Silent night and O Holy Night were STUNNING). I hope this becomes a tradition, and where is the recording?!
I agree. Kate P, Is a star already.
Look out world here she comes.
