Does anyone know if the ladies of Diva Xmas are recording the songs?
I saw the show last night and it is phenominal.

Haven't heard anything, but would kill to have Ellen Greene doing her version of The Christmas Song.

I particularly enjoyed her singing "Silent Night" in the original German.

I would love to have all of Christine Pedi's impersonations.
Eartha Kitt was killer. So was Bernadette.
And every song Brier did blew me away.
Brier deserves to be on Broadway again.
WHAT A VOICE!
Ellen's version of Santa Baby made me howl.
(But I FELL IN LOVE with Maya's baby. He is adorable)

I was just glad I used the restroom before the show. Between Christine singing "Snata Clause is Coming To Town" while impersonating Roxie Hart, her singing the 12 Days of Christmas as 12 different people, and Ellen singing Santa Baby....well, I would have just peed myself.

OMG, Maya's baby is SO cute.

I heard that they might record it, but it wouldn't be released until next year. Maybe this means A Broadway Diva Christmas will become an annual show. I hope so. It was so much more fun and thrilling than I could have ever imagined. I was never much of a fan of a few of the women in the show, but after seeing them in this I don't understand why they all aren't the biggest stars on Broadway. They are so frickin' talented.

Lets hope they do record it!
