That, of course, is via Broadway.com - We'll see if it holds truth 'cause I haven't seen (or heard) any official word yet.

re: A Catered Affair Info

... it's subject to change, but that Broadway.com is pretty official.

It pretty much has a theatre already, it just hasn't been announced yet.

I thought this was coming in the fall?

re: A Catered Affair Info

It is playing its out of town try-out in the fall, then coming to Broadway in the spring.

What theatre are they aiming for exactly? I'm curious!

re: A Catered Affair Info

Sounds interesting. I can't believe the theater will be dark for so long. I'm most curious to hear the score and see how the sets are going to be for this show.

Has the Kerr been common knowledge, or did I just TOTALLY miss something? Am I totally out of the loop? re: A Catered Affair Info

re: A Catered Affair Info

The Kerr has been rumored since the show announced it would transfer.

re: A Catered Affair Info

Transfer? Has it been peformed anywhere before? I thought this was a totally new work, and that the out-of-town run would be the actual 'premiere'
#15

re: A Catered Affair Info

No, it's not a transfer. I believe ray chose the wrong word.
#16

re: A Catered Affair Info

That's what I thought.

I guess speculation began to pick-up once word got out of the eventual Broadway bow for A CATERED AFFAIR.

I got it. Now. re: A Catered Affair Info

re: A Catered Affair Info

Oops, I did choose the wrong word, Yankee. I got confused with IN THE HEIGHTS. The out-of-town try out is indeed the world premiere of the show. Sorry for any confusion...

So does this mean the Uncle and Father are the leads? Or are they just the names they're leading with.
I have several names, one is Julian2. I am also The Opps Girl. But cross me, and I become Bitch Dooku!

Bump.

Has anyone seen the movie? Who are the lead characters?

Oh, I didn't realize it was based on a movie.

So, so far we have one original musical on the docket for Broadway this season: IN THE HEIGHTS.

Anyone notice the orchestrations are by the orchestrator for the Les Mis Revival and Legally Blonde?
