I just watched the newer version last night and wondered what others thought of it. I thought it was enjoyable as a whole however I wasn't real fond of Scrooge. I loved Jason Alexander and Jennifer Love Hewitt tho:)

I really like some of the music in the MSG version, but that's about it.

As a member of the Christmas Carol ensemble, I found the movie worse than the show. They had the wrong director and wrong concept for the movie. I think the MSG version has more of a substance to the average theatergoer.
