I saw it yesterday and I now have a new respect for the cast recording!!!!!! I've had it since the day it came out, however I've never been able to really get into it. But after seeing it yesterday I was (I'm so happy I've had it on my ipod!!!!!!).

Anyways, after looking in the souvenir program, and I noticed that the character of Mrs. Tottendale was wearing a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT costume. Was this done to better suit Joanne Worley's personality (or something like that)??????

That's definitely my guess. I can't see Ms. Worely in the adorable dress Ms. Engel wore. I think it is a matter of changing it to suit the actor. They changed a good bit of her choreography too ~ especially in "Love Is Always Lovely In The End".
