Both these scores are among this year’s Tony Awards nominees for Best Original Score, but I only enjoyed one of them – the delicious comic A GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER. As for THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, although it has some good songs, it’s too monotonous and serious for my taste.
