A Neurotic Question...

Do stars of Broadway shows occasionally take off nights to go see the openings of other Broadway shows? (Kind of a tounge-twister; but noneltheless it is troubling me.) Okay, Let me be more blunt...I am seeing The Producers on the same night Fiddler is opening. Could this possibly be a problem?

I wouldn't worry about it. Usually Broadway people do not take off to see the opening night of other performers, unless it is a husband/wife situation.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

And I don't think it would be appropriate for Lane/Broderick to take a night off of such a limited engagement because of another show.

BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"

And everyone and their grandmother has seen Fiddler. I'm sure they can wait.

Not even for a husband/wife thing. When Sarah Jessica Parker opened in Wonder of the World, Matthew Broderick was appearing in The Producers. He only attended the opening night party afterwards.
