Got to the box office at the height of the snowstorm at noon and got a primo standing room spot. The show was absolutely excellent and, after seeing a bunch of dogs, reaffirmed my faith in having excitement over seeing shows. Paul Rudd and Bradley Cooper were terrific. I see a Tony nomination in their futures, with Cooper winning. They both give two of the strongest performances I've seen this season so far. Julia Roberts is still finding her footing and was decent. She's not a trainwreck like Amanda Peet, she just has trouble projecting.

During one of the quiet moments of Act I, I heard a deep sigh coming from behind me. I turn around to see Joe Mantello, sitting up against the bar, with his head in his hands. His direction for the bulk of Act One was great, but became muddled towards its end. Act Two was an organized car crash.

The stage door was much more organized. She came out and signed for everyone via the door closest to the Schoenfeld Theater. I hate to see that street once Caine Mutiny starts.

I was walking by the theatre after DROWSY CHAPERONE and everyone was right. The crowds are impossible.

I like that they've created an area just for people who've seen the show to stand. The cops and bodyguards push the photographers behind everyone else, which I think is fair.

I caught a glimpse of Julia while walking by, but didn't stay. Who would want to fight THAT?

I can't wait to see the show, though. I'm looking forward to the 22nd.

What I thought was very funny was I ran into Bradley Cooper not 100 feet away from the crowd and only ONE person was talking to him. So, I approached him just to say hello and tell him I was looking forward to seeing the show and he couldn't have been nicer. He offered to take a picture with me and even walked down the street and had a short conversation with me.

A very, very nice man. (And VERY handsome.)

Damn it! I missed Bradley Cooper. He was by far the best in the show. Did you catch him by the alley?

He was farther down the street. Close to the corner.

Not sure where he comes out.

What was the line like for Standing Room?

Well, I don't know if it's "audience members" or just "people with playbills."

All I know is the security made all photographers move to the barricade farthest from the door.

And the barricade close to the theatre entrance was reserved for people who had playbills. But, it's obvious some of them hadn't seen the show because I saw some jerk with a bag FULL of THREE DAYS OF RAIN playbills already signed. It's obvious he's been there many times.

There was no line for standing room. And yes, it's just Playbills only....better proof would be if you have a ticket stub, but that's just my idea....

There really hasn't been a lot of information about the standing room for "Three Days of Rain." When does one need to get there generally (on a Sunday) to get tickets? How many do they sell? Typically, I don't ask stupid questions like this, but even TalkinBroadway.com's SRO area doesn't have much info.

Like I said, it was snowing, so plenty of SRO tickets were available. I've heard from the box office that it was the one day where they hadn't sold out quickly.

Yeah, at noon, and there were still tix available! That seems unheard of for most any show with SRO!! It didn't start snowing until 11ish, so I'm still kind of surprised that they weren't all snapped up by quarter past 10 when they went on sale.

I wish I didn't have class Wednesday afternoon, because I'd imagine (snowstorm or not) that's got to be one of the better days to try for, line-wise. Grrr!

You got to see Joe?!? Wow, I would be more excited about seeing him than Julia Roberts!

I need to go back to see the trainwreck, I need to see the first Act to tie up some loose ends in the 2nd act. How much is SRO, and do they sell them at the regular box office and when do they go on sale? Thanks.

The Alias geek in me is SO excited to read any and all praise about Bradley Cooper, both on and off stage. I'm hoping to get in one morning to try for SRO...I'm dying to be able to see him live! I absolutely ADORE him.
