Posted: 8/24/03 at 12:52pmCJR- Why don't you like Donna Marie Asbury. I saw her at Broadway in Bryant Park twice singing the part of Velma, and she's fantastic and just as good as the other girls. Why can't you stand her?

It's really quite irrelevant to you all why I don't like her. Personally, while she is very talented, I think I'd like her more in another show. I'm sick to death of seeing her in Chicago to the point where her very presence on the stage sometimes grates on my nerves.
There are other reasons why I do not like her, but this is neither the time, nor the place to get into them.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...

It's got nothing to do with the amount of time she's been with the show. Michelle Robinson has been with the show since the revival opened, and I would be heartbroken to see her leave the cast...
It's a matter of personal taste and getting along with someone, and dma and I pretty much share mutual feelings for each other along those lines.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
