Inspired by true events, TURTLE fictionalizes the inside story of a prominent New Yorker thrown into an unknown world by New York’s most powerful man. At heart a vibrant tale of love and friendship, Turtle uses humor and song to deal with themes of freedom, forgiveness and truth, revealing how meaningful learning can arise in the most unexpected places and from the most surprising sources.
I am struggling to find the words to describe how awful this show was. I'm hoping someone else has seen this and can weigh in...
I left at intermission, along with what looked to be half of the audience. This was an astonishing waste of a talented cast. I've seen middle school shows with better production value. Something is very wrong when you can't hear the actors sing in a 160 seat venue.
