Dr. Jaylee Mead whose name -along with her husband Gil-graces Arena Stage at The Mead Center for American Theater - passed away today. Here's my tribute to this extremely brilliant lover and supported of theatre in the DC area. She will be sorely missed by our theatre community.

Sorry that this benefactress died, but the headline is quite bizarre. I do not believe that I have ever seen an author actually put his name in the deceased's obituary headline (and his bio is almost as long as the article - tacky).
