Does anyone know whatever happened to the Broadway's original Chris Willy Falk? The last time I saw him was in a wee part (and Damian's u/s) in the Broadway bound Joseph...Dreamcoat in LA in the early 90s. He must have left the show before it arrived in NY because he's not listed in the revival cast on IBDB. I just find it a little interesting that a lot of the Chris replacements went on to have notable careers, but he kind of fell off the radar, I think.

Also, when the actress playing Kim missed a show, who would get first crack at going on for her-the alternate or her u/s?

Is there any legal recording (non-English is fine) that features the Little God of My Heart ending?

Finally, does anyone remember which magazine published that really juicy behind the scenes diary that Melanie Mariko Tojio kept during the Broadway rehearsals/opening? I'm trying to locate the magazine.

Thanks!

OK. I should have tried a second search engine before asking about Willy Falk's whereabouts. It seems he goes by William now, and he's been working quite steadily in regional theater. Here's a web page on him that his brother-in-law apparently put together. Though it doesn't appear to have been updated in a couple of years. http://www.caccioppoli.com/Willy%20Falk.htm

Just the original Japanese cast.

Most of the time, it was the alternate that went on for the actress playing Kim if she had to miss- especially unexpectedly.

Melanie's diary was in the June issue of VOGUE back in June of '91.

As far as I know, there is no legal or illegal English or non English recording that has the God of my Heart ending. Maybe someone else has more info that I do and can help us? re: A few Miss Saigon questions
