Are Condon and company going to compromise the story by giving Deena a solo in DREAMGIRLS?

Word on the street is that four new songs have been/are being written. No word on what they are or how they fit in. If one turns out to be a solo for Deena, it wouldn't necessarily compromise anything, provided that it's well written.

One of them is called "Patience." It was mentioned in one of these articles. I believe it's a duet with Eddie and Anika.

Well, considering the casting, they'd be dumb not to give Deena a solo. Condon did WONDERS with Chicago, I'm sure Dreamgirls will be just fine.
