ABC Daytime Stars for BCEFA tonight! (with song list)

Cast members from ABC’s top-rated daytime dramas, All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital come together to salute Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. From our first days in the late 1980’s, the Daytime community has joined BC/EFA in its fundraising efforts on behalf of people with AIDS and their families with extraordinary enthusiasm and generosity. “The stars of daytime have been special champions - not to mention that a good many “moonlight” nights on Broadway.”

Among the cavalcade of stars confirmed to join Ms. Lucci on stage include; Bobbie Eakes, Kelli Giddish, Jill Larson, Cady McClain, Alicia Minshew, Sydney Penny, Tonya Pinkins, Aiden Turner, Walt Willey and Jacob Young from “All My Children;” Kristen Alderson, Kathy Brier, Kassie Depaiva Renee Elise Goldsberry, Catherine Hickland, Matt Metzger and Trevor St. John and from “One Life to Live,” and Kelly Monaco and Scott Clifton from “General Hospital.”

Television icon, Barbara Walters, creator/executive producer and co-host of “The View,” will open the evening with a tribute to BC/EFA.

Meredith Vieira, Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck from “The View” will also take part in the evening’s festivities."

Too bad...General Hospital was really good mid-90s and Passions was friggin addicting...so stupid, it would take two months for a day to go by and yet as soon as you started watching, you admitted it's stupidity but couldn't stop watching for months!

Heh, I was showing the list to my mom, she's an ABC soap fanatic, I don't know why she's not going tonight. She just brought me Soap Opera Digest, which has a picture of Chrishelle Stouse and Matt Morrison--did not think I'd see him pop up in Soap Opera Digest

my mom and her friend are going tonight, they discuss soap operas like it's real life. i like jacob young though.. thats exciting.

Oh man! I wish I could go! I LOVE ABC soaps and yes I talk about them like they're real life peeps too! LOL!

Kristen Alderson has an AMAZING voice for someone so small! She can belt it with the best! Kassie DePaiva is also amazing. She has a sweet voice and does a little country. Catherine Hickland played "Fantine" for a time on Bway and "Sleepy Man" is on her CD. Renee Goldsberry was recently on "The Color Purple".

Can someone please give us a review tomorrow?? I can't wait to hear more!!

Just got home. I only knew a couple of people who were there- Kathy Brier and Kerry Butler, who I thought had the best performances of the night, and I'd heard of Meredith V and Star Jones Reynolds, as well as Susan Lucci who looks amazing.
It was entertaining, and pretty to look at.

The actual show went from 7:50ish (20 mins late) til 10, and then they did a BCEFA auction that went til 10:15. But they raised another $30,000+ which was awesome.

My favorite performances were by the ones who performed their own compositions, Cady McClain and Matt Metzger, who each performed solo numbers and accompanied themselves on the guitar, and Scott Clifton. Of course the better-known Bway folks, Kathy, Kerry and Renee delivered (once some of them got past technical or memory difficulties!), but it was more fun for me to see those perform in a way that I'm not used to seeing them.
