Anyone else hear that Aida will be closing in January?

Apparantly, according to someone who works for Buena Vista Theatricals at the Palace, "bar staff at the palace has received info for unemployment untill the short term show moves in. And the ushers have been given a final date." January 3rd.

Don't you think they would tell the cast and make an official annoucement as well as telling all the bar staff and ushers?

Apparantly the person who posted it works at the Palace Theatre.

if thats the case, then its sad that Toni will be recorded as Aida, I say bring back Heather for the last month and record her, and adam for that matter since he stayed with the show for over three years or whatnot!

There is an active list of stage, screen and recording stars interested in the role of AIDA,

many of whom are in discussions with casting, and the producers at this time.

Well Heather is becoming well known in the R&B world so perhaps they'd consider her to reprise Aida for the DVD.

Did anyone else hear the rumor about Tim McGraw to play Radames?
