These awards are presented each year for excellence in theatre. What makes them slightly different from the TONY awards, is that their voting season goes from all shows playing from January 1st, until December 20th! I just found this on a website.

If this is true, the voters must have been high.
None of them would even qualify for the top 8.
Except Idina. She might qualify for the 7th or 8th spot.

After winning the Tony, I'm sure she would qualify higher than 7 or 8. However, I'm amazed that if it was a three-way tie (even if these awards are real) why was Tonya Pinkins NOT in that group of winning ladies? She was amazing?!?
