AMTSJ in Trouble?

Word on ATC is that it is in trouble...money issues!

According to ATC they are supposed to send out a press released today and it does not look promising!

The group sent out a press release today announcing that it will cease operations effective immediately and that their productions of “Tarzan” and “42nd Street” and the presentations of touring shows “Chicago” and “Avenue Q” have been canceled.

This is terrible.

And the worst part is, even if they do win their claim against Theatre Under the Stars, their victory comes at the loss of a regional theatre, albeit a corrupt one. It reflects poorly upon the entire theatre community when something like this happens, and unfortunately AMTSJ might be at a dead end.
