If you haven't had a chance to see Marc Wolf's absolutely incredible solo show, it's now playing at the DR2 Theatre off of Union Square.
I saw it the other day and thought "Well, this material will all be dated very, very soon."
Needless to say, I was wrong.
A little interview and some clips here

I saw it 10 years ago at Trinity Rep and would recommend it despite the fact that it was single handedly the most uncomfortable experience I ever had in a theater.
I was in the second-to-last row and the person seated directly behind me was breathing with the assistance of an oxygen tank. It was the kind of tank that made a short, loud PSSSHT every 20 seconds or so. I found it annoying but tried to block it out because it wasn't the person's fault he needed the tank.
Probably 3/4 of the way through the show, Marc Wolf stopped talking and looked directly at me (not the person behind me) and angrily said, "What's going on? Is everything OKAY?" but in this tone that indicated he thought somebody (me?) was whispering loudly. I was stunned and couldn't find the words to convey that a person with disabilities was behind me when the woman with the man whispered to him, "I think you have to leave." Which, I couldn't believe. Wolf asked another question, I've blocked it out, didn't get a response, and went back to the show.
It was awful. I get a knot in my stomach thinking about it.
