I'm appearing as Malcolm in this production.
Pacific Repertory Theatre in Carmel, CA is seeking
an actor/dancer for the role of Buddy Keno, the
hard-bodied stripper in their production of THE
FULL MONTY (reh. start Feb. 6, 2006; perfs. run
Mar. 9-Apr. 15). The person must be an actor with
strong dance ability; no singing is required for
the role. He must have the body build of a
Chippendale dancer (or something similar).
Rehearsals will not be extensive; the character
appears at the beginning and end of the show.
There will probably be partial (but not full)
nudity required for the role. Because of the
nature of the show and what is required of the
actor, he must be or appear in his 20's (may be 18
or 19). There IS pay for the role.
If you or anyone who know is interested, please
contact Stephen Moorer (Artistic Director) at
smatprt@aol.com or contact the theatre at (831)
622-0700.
