Just got a whole bunch of discount codes and coupons. If anyoe is going to try to catch it before Feb. .. pm me.
Aww DAME - you're killing me - already have my tix for Dec 3rd - full price...
And you will have a great time. Enjoy. The discount only 20 % and there is a whole bunch of black out dates. I hope some miracle happens and they turn their attendance around.
Did you send me a pm back? I didn't get it yet.
Just did.
I love that show! Don't diss Q MISTER!
Or you will have to deal with me!
I need to find an affordable air package.
But to be honest, I would rather see Stephanie as much as I can before Dec 24th.
I am happy for her but very depressed!
Why are you depressed Corine?
We Will Rock You is closing as well...maybe it's a Vegas thing...
So it's a flop, but they're only discounting 20% with a bunch of blackout dates?
a 20% discount does not make a flopping show. The woman in white just sent out a 20% discount. Just means they are trying to boost sales a bit. If it were on 50% discount then the show would be hurting much more.
It is a flop. There was a article about two weeks ago in the LA times. It was posted here somewhere. Also.. the theater has been with the rear empty on a constant basis and the pr firm was just dumped for a new one.
Well,
It is my favorite show of all time.
Q Rules!
Great show. Just does not belong in Vegas.
Shhh.
You might piss off Jeff Whitty.

Honey.. I am sure he is well informed. Anyway.. great show.
Question.. when it closes in Vegas.. can it tour?

I guess so; I don't see why the Vegas contract would preclude a national tour after that run is over. But man, what a loss of face that would be for the Q people, after all the nastiness about their choice to go to Vegas in the first place.
DAME, I agree with you that the show seems like an odd choice for that town. It's not big and glittery enough.
It might be a loss of face.. But they still gettheir money don't they? And with the bitter taste they left with tour promoters.. I wonder if hey would even want them?

Heh. I thought of that too, DAME, but money is money, right? That's why the promoters got so miffed in the first place.
I am just hoping this will put an end to shows opting to go to Vegas for a sitdown, instead of touring to major theater towns like SF and LA.
I can only hope it's a lesson learned. But, as you said, money is money!
True. And they probaly made even more money than if they would have toured.

Corine is 100% correct, Q rocks!!
There has been a whole story of why Q is not touring, however, I don't remember it. All I remember is some quote like "The Avenue doesn't come to you, you have to go to it."
Corine, when are you going to see Stephanie? I am probably going Dec 21st before I leave for my cruise (which is the last day of her performance)
