Well, I was there and on line early. And while I loved seeing the super-friendly cast and creative team.....I did not see Rod, Nicky or Mrs. T.!!! Oh, they were there, all right...as you can see in the photo-op on Broadway.com. Has sucess gone to their fuzzy heads so soon? Do they vanish when the cameras finish clicking? Harumph! ![]()
I'm just really upset to learn that Rod doesn't sign. I have a warm spot for those uptight stockbroker types...Like to loosen their ties, muss their hair, etcetera, etcetera.
Egomaniacs...
...I wanted a pic w/ that cutie Princeton :) Imagine my sadness after waiting 2 hours on line and no Princeton

What a delight is this CD! It brings me great joy. Except...
During the last song, the characters discuss the transitory nature of our lives. It's fine with me until they happily bring up the fact that George Bush is just for now and that he might not be around forever.
OH NO! We should, therefore, strike all threads dealing with Avenue Q here so as not to offend the Republicans, the gay Republicans, the gay Catholic Republicans, or the gay "married" Catholic Republicans we count as brethren. I would hate to think they would get their feelings hurt.
Agreed?

Missed the signing, but I enjoy the CD. More because it reminds me of my experience at the show. Does it come off well for anyone who has only heard it and not seen it?
Oh yes, and it does indeed carry the "Advisory label" that was discussed here a while back.
I haven't seen the show or own the CD, but the official website has clips of every song. This has made me want the CD.
