DON'T POST THE RESULTS IN YOUR HEADERS. It's so unfair to us on the West Coast
If you're that worried about Tony spoilers, why would you go to a website where people are going to be discussing Tony results? Even if we weren't in the threads, the feed at the top of the page still gives everything away. It may not be fair that people are posting detailed results in thread titles, but it's not to be unexpected either.
Shut up, you West Coast whiners.
Love,
A West Coast non-whiner
I'm sorry, but you're a complete idiot if you come on a Broadway website and get pissed at people for posting about the results of the biggest Broadway awards show of the year currently airing on television.

Allofmylife, the results are posted on the VERY front page of this site, and you yell at us for spoilers?? Get mad at broadwayworld.com, or better, don't come here at all until you finish the Tony Awards. You must feel like an idiot
LMAO as Lily Tomlin would say. Who from the West Coast would go to a live discussion about the Tony award winners as they are being given, read them, and then complain that people said who the winners were? What the hell were people supposed to be saying, "Oh, I so glad you know who beat whatchamakalit"?
Mr. Small (and there never was a more appropriate name I'd add ass and turd, but that's just me) I don't feel stupid. I just think that any common decency would enter the minds of some of the posters here that half of the country isn't in Atlantic time. But then I am sadly realizing that there are a great deal of very heartleass, rude, insensitive people on this site who make it miserable to visit (and I have been a member here for years, far more actively than you). Posting the winners is just something that shouldn't have been done so capriciously. But WTF, you don't care so why should I?
I am on the West Coast. Seeing it fresh was so important to me that I didn't get on the internet, didn't watch television and didn't answer the phone from 5-8 p.m. west coast time. Obsessive, yes, and it was hard to do, but I did get lots of house cleaning accomplished from 5 to 8!
My vigilance reminded me of a Seinfeld episode where Jerry did everything possible to not learn the outcome of a Mets game. Just after he started watching the game on tape...Kramer came in and told him the Met's blew it. Thankfully that did not happen to me.
The point being that as soon as you log onto the web site, before you even reach the forums, you've been exposed to the winners in the headlines on the website. So what does it matter what the forum posters do?
Furthermore, you know it's going to happen. Just stay off the website until after you've had a chance to see the program for yourself!
Allmylife: What everyone else said. Pure stupidity! People putting stuff in thread titles isn't the only thing give it away, either - yell at Craig for posting stuff in the news feed if you're really pi$$ed. Ugh.
They don't even put stuff in the news feed, it automatically picks up from other sites. (I've drawn this conclusion from the silly number of times news stories about operating theatres in hospitals have turned up on the West End feed.) The only way to make BroadwayWorld.com a safe haven for the West Coast would be for EVERYBODY, posters and other websites alike, to maintain silence. And how likely is that?!
And I swear, I am sick of hearing someone from the West Coast complain. It's not "our" faults. Results are posted all over the place!!!
Just venting over a ruinerd evening. It just ticked me off for a moment. Nothing else. (But don't call me stuupit.)
