Curious about Ticketmaster tickets that are listed as "Accessible Seating (Deaf/Hard of hearing/Blind/Low vision)."
I am NOT deaf by any stretch ... but I'm definitely "hard of hearing" in that I'm down to about 25% in one ear and 75% in the other. I've never had a HUGE problem at theater, but there have been times that I've had to struggle a bit to hear dialogue. I've tried a few of the assisted listening devices before, and they're fine, but never sound very good to me (quality-wise). Sitting closer is usually my best option. I always assumed the accessible seats were for wheelchair/limited-mobility folks, but I happened to notice these today (in this case, for Falsettos).
So ... would I be "allowed" to buy those tickets? I don't have any sort of "proof" ... and, like I said, I'm far from deaf ... but it would certainly be helpful to be closer. Also, am I allowed to buy 2 of those seats, even if it's just me that's hard of hearing?
Thanks all -
They don't really check these things, typically, you'll be fine. It's not like you're taking a wheelchair seat or anything, these are for exactly your need.
