Actor Joe Mascolo Has Passed

While primarily known as longtime villain Stefano DiMera on "Days of Our Lives," Joe Mascolo was no stranger to the stage, having several Broadway credits and touring roles. I saw him in the gangster comedy "Breaking Legs" at Boston's Wilbur Theater in 1992, co-starring Vincent Gardenia, Gary Sandy, Larry Storch and Karen Valentine.

Shame...

I knew he was not well when he was written off Days earlier this year...

Hoping he's found some peace...

It's nice that he was able to continue working, even while suffering from Alzheimers.
