Actors Fund Performance Question

Does anyone have any insight on how ticket sales work. I was looking at a performance and it seems that most of the orch and front mezz are not available. My question is do they normally hold a block and then release them closer to the date or are they truly sold already? Thanks

I bought tickets on TDF for the Rock of Ages Actors Fund Performance, tickets were not at the box office instead representatives from the Actors Fund distributed them instead. So I think all those Orchestra and Front Mezz seats are with the Actors Fund, you buy the tickets on their website and not thru Ticketmaster or Telecharge.
