Posted: 4/3/05 at 10:13pmSandra Bullock and Drew Barrymore do it and it's probably the SMARTEST business choice to make... $$$$$$ I had NO idea until recently that Sandra was producer of the george lopez show.. she sometimes has stints on it as well.

Yes, producing your own television/film projects can be a smart idea.
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are billionaires because they are executive producers of all of their productions, for example.
