Will the Actors' Fund Benefit Performance of Les Miserables be cancelled in the event of a strike?

Yes.

Why wouldn't it be?

Why might it be? Because it is being performed as a charitable event to benefit the fund.

I would be interested in knowing if anyone has a certain answer.

The union is being very self centered, do you really think they will donate their time to raise money for a charity. I don't think so.

Margo gave you the answer!

A young actress with Noel coward after a dreadful opening night performance said to him 'Well, i knew my lines backwards this morning!'' Noels fast reply was ''Yes dear, and thats exactly how you said them tonight'!'

You really think they'd call off the strike at one theatre just because there's a charity performance? Or else that stagehands would go back to work for that one performance? Or barring that the actors would cross the picket line? When all they'd need to do is simply postpone the Actor's Fund Performance until some date later after the strike is over? C'mon..........

What can I say? I'm a hopeless idealist.
